Our future and welfare depend on the labor and competence of older workers. Centre for Extended Working Life provides knowledge that helps the Social Partners, politicians, and leaders make good decisions that benefit both older workers, the labor market, and society.
Centre for Extended Working Life will disseminate research-based knowledge and relevant experiences to Norwegian working life. The center will encourage businesses to put aging and work on the agenda, and to develope strategies to increase employment among the oldest workers.

Centre for Extended Working Life has 29 affiliated organizations, among them all the major Social Partners. The annual meeting is CEWLs supreme body and elects the Board of Directors. The Ministry of Labour and Social Inclusion finances CEWLs activities. More information here:
